On my boat (bult 1989) the plates connected to the hull to keep the mast stays I noticed spacing. Already tightened the bolds, but think I need to adjust tension on the connection rod too. has anybody any experience with this? it opnly occurs on port side and that part is not easy to reach..

Hi Lazijack, I am owner of a Suncharm 39 buiilt 1989, sinche the year 2000. I am Italian and cruise the Adriatic sea. I want to say the boat is great, both under sail and motor (Perkins Prima 50 HP with 4500 working hours without problems). I'd like to remain in touch. for Kees 1951, I did not notice the problem you say about, so I can't help you. The idea of a Suncharm 39 group (association) could be interesting ; please let us know your opinion.
