Folks, I have the MF 855 and am having problems with filling the fuel tank. The tank holds 106 gallons. Once I get around 85 gallons or so the tank fills the last 20 gallons very, very slow. The dealer said this is due to a new vapor recovery system on the tank. Has anyone found a way around this. I just can't take 20+ minutes to put in 15-20 gallons.
Thanks
Capt. Gary

Hello captgary
I have a 2017 MF 855 and I have the same problem. With pumps that have auto off, the boat reads 87% filled. It does take longer for the remainder. No solution so far . Will investigated.

Steve,
I hear from my dealer that the gas tank has 2 vent lines. One of these lines has a check value in it that forces the vapors to go through the second line, which has a carb filter, when filling gets to 87% or so filled. These are located in the wooden box in the bilge closest to the front of the bilge. Sorta under the sliding door. I have not pulled the cover to look at these but plan to when I pull the boat to winterize. I think removing the check value may fix the problem. My dealer would not commit to this but I plan to try it.
