I have a Sun Odyssey 51 and my boat had no holding tanks when I bought her in the Caribbean. I brought her to Ca and have since had a larg stainless tank made. 18 gauge, and I designed it to fit below the forward master birth. Or for split berths there is a slot for it inbetween the two cabins I believe. There is on mine. I have images of the area for anyone to compare their boat. The tank is strong and could be for extra fuel if a holding tank is not needed. I have not measured the exact capacity but it is i think over 50 gallons to 65? It is a big triangle in shape, 60 inches long and at the widest point aft is 35 inches. It is 14 inches deep with an additional 5"tapering to 3" gathering well in the bottom-aft portion where the pickup is. I have images. i can have this same tank made up for anyone who could use it. Perhaps a Beneteau 50 has the same layout too.
