The shower pump is running but not pumping any water. I've cleaned the filter which was thoroughly full of crud. Any suggestions for potential easy fixes, short of stripping all the plumbing?

The easiest fix is to remember to open the through-hull valve. But I'm sure you've already tried that.

And check the pump. Our shower pumps are diaphragm pumps. Works great, but they do wear out. We had to rebuild the pump last time our shower stopped draining. Took all of about 20 minutes to rebuild the thing. Takes twice as long to get the pump out of the cabinet.
