The good news is that the new T-track is installed on Voyageur's mast and the whisker pole stows on it reasonably well.
The bad news is that the Forespar FC-125 top-end mast car separates the car so much from the track that the VPC-125 vertical storage car is not aligned fore-aft with the pole, particularly at separation distances between the two of less than 2 meters, which is much greater separation than Forespar recommends [methinks the recommendation is based on use of the gimbaled shaft mast car]. Checking Forespar's web site, FC-125 horizontal spacing to match the antenna & pole is not an option; the assembly sold is "universal". Hah!
The obvious "quick solution" is to position the VPC-125 near the midpoint of the track, though that may cause line spillage when the pole is deployed [and entanglement of that spilled line with an obstacle (or worse) is ensured ... queue Edsel Murphy!]. The not-so-quick solution is to space the chock of the VPC-125 farther from the aluminum slider that holds it to the mast {yes, I can foresee problems with this, but they should not be difficult to overcome.).
Any comments or experience, guys?
