Hello guys , I'm on the virge of buying a spare prop , but because there's about 2000km between me and my boat it's rather hard to get hold of the correct size. Could anyone help me out with the type and or measurements of the prop in the picture ? I suppose it's a commonly used prop for jeanneau's of that lenght (40 feet). As this is my last week at home for the next 7 months , I would not want to miss this deal of 130 Euro for a fairly new prop. The cone is 10 cm long , the largest inner diameter is 30 mm and the smallest is 25 mm , would that suit the/my standard shaft of 30 mm diameter ? Edit: the diameter sizes are in mm of course , I first mistakenly wrote cm. Corrected it. Thank for helping me out. Regards

I know my shaft is 30 mm thick ,.....the propeller shaft that is The only thing I'm concerned about is, if the 10 cm cone and the decreasement of 5 mm from one end of the cone to the other end is the same on the original prop. Regards

So lucky being so close!!!!! I'm 2200km away How often do props fail? I can understand it if you bought a new folding prop and kept your fixed "just in case" (I do that) and after Vasko's prop thread there is a reason to keep a fixed handy. Save your €130 and either put it to a folding prop saving plan or buy some wine

sailbleu, If the boats not too old, I'm told that Jeanneau only use ISO tapers. Here's a link to dimensions for ISO shafts: ISO Shaft Dimensions. Go to the bottom of the page. We just bought a new prop and the manufacturer didn't see or measure the shaft. They new the dimensions for our 35mm where an ISO standard. Ian
