Hi, does anyone know of any tuning guides for the Sun Fast 32? We took the tension up on the rig this summer and now the boat points significantly better. Would be great to get some info on how to optimise the rig further. Best. R.

I’m not in possession of a rig tuning guide, but I do have some SF32 performance data – polar graphs & target speeds etc…
I’d be happy to email them to you.

Re the rig on the SF32. If you retain the Profurl with the drum in the anchor locker there is a lower forestay attachment point which we used with the standard forestay length. Its a bit fiddlly to attach deep in the locker but the extra couple on inches make a huge diffenence to forestay tension in conjunction with the rig set-up. We found it substantially improves upwind performance in conjunction with a fairly tight rig set upand just a little pre-bend. Rake on our boat , level, is 8inches with backstay off.

I know I'm coming into this thread super late but...any chance I could get a copy of those polars too? Although there are seemingly endless other ways I could improve to gain boat speed I'll take all the help I can get If they are still available my email is jng7000@gmail.com Thanks!
