Anyone have an Eno Open Sea or Gassogne with grill?
After another very slow attempt to toast some bread on the burner I am thinking that when I move to the boat for an extended live aboard session that I will want a better set-up in the galley.
Does the griller work well for toast and grilling in general?

we exchanged the eno for a plastimo oven and grill on our SO37, a waste of time and money, the grill was useless. our current boat has a 4kva genny and a duralit toaster.

The cheap solution to toast: www.gooutdoors.co.uk/toaster-folding-4-slice-p152190My wife never uses the grill as she says its useless but loves the oven and hobs. We're looking at the generator solution and a Tesco toaster but not just for that - there is the hair-dryer issue.

Generator for a hairdryer LOL You should get a more suitable hairstyle for sailing and don't try to blame the wife

I would divorce for that reason!! No genny on my boat!!! You haven't tasted her scones and cakes made in the boat. Nothing better than wholemeal scones and smoked salmon to start the day with a little scrambled egg.

Oh and euhhh ,... please beware ,.. if your wife discovers the benefits of a genny she might divorce you for not installing one Regards I'm single and can do what I please, when I please and how I please I have two guys I work with who also have boat in the Med and when I hear the planning difficulties they have (neither wife will do long sails and one wife was very happy to take two summers to motor from the Baltic to the med through the canals whilst my colleague would have preferred only giving up one sailing season) So I'm with on y va... I do see the irony of a single guy starting an oven thread. By rights I should only know that the metal box is on the boat as being a safe place to store electronics during thunder storms and have no other known use
