Hi All
I want to replace the push button bilge pump on/off switch on my instrument panel of my SF37 (2003). I want to replace it with a 3 way switch so I can have manual on, auto on, and off for the bilge pump and I would like to do it with as little disruption or visual change to the instrument panel as possible.
Has anyone replaced one of the push buttons with a rotary switch or rocker switch and if so what brand of switch was it?
My last resort is to just put a rotary switch next to the panel but I don't like putting extra stuff in there if I don't need it
Cheers

Yes I did. Used a Blue Sea from WestMarine. Rocker type. Looks good works well... Remember the more you sail, the more reasonable it becomes... per hour cost of owning a boat.. Have fun.

Hello,
I had a quick look at the panel and see it has one button for "on" and one for "off". I would think about modifying the circuit so that one push is auto, second push is manual on and the "off" button still turns the system off. Very small LEDs installed in the panel could signify what state the system was in. That way the disruption to the panel would be minimal.
Good luck,
Trevor
