Hi..........my bow roller has split. Apart from going through Clarke and Carter for a Jeanneau replacement, anyone know of an alternative and possible cheaper source. I believe it is made from delrin type material and measures 64mm wide. Help appreciated or shall I just go the Jeanneau spares route. Regards Ron

Hi Ron You should be able to get most engineers (or better still lathe hobbyists) to turn you one, using the broken one as a pattern Sailbleu should be able to advise on best type of plastic and you should be able to source in short lengths on ebay He made a couple of genoa rollers in this article: www.jeanneau-owners.com/hintsandtips/amiotgoiotgenoacars.htmlwhich are quite similar in principle Malcolm

Thanks for that Malcolm, pretty impressive photos from Sailbleu. I know of a local lathe operator so may give it a try and get 2 made so I have a spare. Cheers ron
