Have just had Ostara lifted out after two years immersion and found a totally gone shaft end anode and the barrel anode on the shaft partially worn however slack on the shaft. Luckily no damage to Cutlass bearing. What I have found is a section of the foam material at the top of the P bracket missing. What is the compound used for this can anyone tell me? Thanks

Hi Rodberg ,
just read your question , if I may make a suggestion , use epoxy filler (DIY) . That is epoxyresin with glasbubbles or aerosil. I've used that , it's been 3 years , and up to now it is still intact. As an addition you could epoxy some carbon fibre tape/ribbon around the edge overlapping part of the P-bracket and part of the hull , a few inches on both parts will do. If you check the H&T section for P-bracket repair.
Regards
