If your still around the St Lucia try speaking to Simon at Rodney Bay - he's the Sunsail manager there and a very nice guy. Seems to know a lot about what can be done around the Caribbean. Sunsail mono-hulls are all Jeanneau's so they may be able to help.

in martinque there is a great jeanneau dealer that has a really well stocked chandlery and they do know their stuff -- in la Marin - at the dingy dock -- they were great with us when we had alternator/battery isloator/voltage regulator problems -- other folks down island could not figure it out -- they did -- and when we had problems they simply said we will work on this until we get it fixed -- they are simply wonderful people and very knowledgeable

Do you know the dealers name? yes -- it is called caraibe greement -- if you do not speak french they have some folks there that speak english -- i can not recommend these guys enough -- i got see the work shop and wow -- you can anchor in la marin and take a dink in -- as you go in we anchored on the starboard side and the port side was really crowded - seems everyone wants to be close to the dink dock - we had plenty of room -- take your dink toward the big marina there and there are 2 dink docks -- the 1st one i think is older and away from anything really -- the second is crowded but as they say it will always tie up one more dink -- the dink dock is a floating dock and lots of charter boats on the docks on either side and may be a mega yacht or two on the outside -- by the way you will pass the fuel dock on the way in -- as you walk up the ramp to land caraibe greement is almost right in front of you -- if you want free internet there are 2 places -- first is a cafe/restur on the right just past caribe greement - forget the name - go in order some coffee or what ever and use their internet -- the other is upstairs where the customs and immigration are -- there is a bar/lounge/restu there and we had many a coffee/wine there using the internet good luck
