Hi All, This has been on my "to do" list for the last couple of seasons. I've finally got round to sorting it out. I have no idea why Jeanneau didn't do this from new!! Anyway, it took about 5 < 6 applications of filler. So in goes the marine filler..... and a bit more.... Nearly there.... All done... Regards Ian

Why do you fill it. What is the purpose of flattening it. Do you think it will improve the performance?

Yes purely performance. I'm not sure that I will notice the difference, but it can only improve water flow over such an important part of the boat.
I'll let you know if it makes the jump to light speed!!
Regards
Ian

Whats it for anyway? Mine is the same, I would imagine if it made any difference they'd have filled it in during construction.
