Does anyone happen to have the code or dimensions for the correct prop. anode to fit a 2009 42DS?
I bought one last year, supplied by a local chandler basis of shaft size and boat type. However, I discovered that it was the wrong size when I arrived at the boat. Nothing more suitable near the boat yard at the time so I ground the inner face to fit. It was a pain but did let me launch on time and the anode is still on the prop.
The boat is about 1,000 miles away and I'd like to pack a couple of spare prop. and shaft anodes before returning.

The prop zinc will depend on the prop you have installed. I changed my prop over to Flex-O-Fold & that uses a Flex-O-Fold-FX Zinc Anode at US19.84 each
The shaft is a 30mm. I purchased three in the USA from Boat Zincs under the part number "Reliance X-30H Shaft Zinc X-30H Anode - 30mm Heavy for US$13.93 each.
I hope this helps!

I'm afraid that I have the standard 3 blade prop. and was hoping for a part no. for MG Duff or other anode widely available un UK. Shaft anodes are easy to find as the only important size is 30mm so anything designed for a 30mm shaft will fit.
Flex-o-fold prop. have a flat end face and so pretty much anything round with a flat face and hole in the middle would bolt on. Plus the fact that the anodes are advertised as being for flex-o-fold.
The problem for me is identifying the one on the prop. that fits over the cone on the end of the nut. There are plenty of anodes for "Beneteau" and I was sold one for a 30mm shaft. Didn't fit but then 30mm shaft says nothing much about prop. size.
I just thought that someone would have bought an anode recently and remember the number. I think that one of the MGDuff Martyr range might be suitable.
Thanks anyway.

I get mine for a SO42i with a 30mm shaft from anodeoutlet.co.uk
Their ref. for the one on the end is CMAN230. I also have one on the shaft which is ref MGD30mm. Total cost including delivery and VAT is about £43
The one on the end is called the Beneteau type on some web sites.
ASAP Supplies also provide them

Interesting, the one I bought last year was CMAN230 as well. I still have the invoice and think that I took a picture of the MG Duff plastic tag on I t to remind me of the part number.
However, it didn't fit and I ended up grinding it out and putting some s/s washers inside. A bit of a bodge but it did stay in place and there's about 50% left after a season. I wasn't able to get another before launch date.
That's puzzling facts are:
I remembered that the part was CMAN230 and picked one up from a chandlery near home The plastic tag and anode both said CMAN230 (Picture actually shows AN230 and this agrees with a picture on MGDuff site) I noticed that the setscrew was single slote & countersunk head The hole in the anode was obviously bevelled to take a countersunk screw. The old anode had a normal head and took a Allen key, not countersunk (I assumed it was a minor design change on newer anodes) The replacement anode would not sit in place properly and was obviously slightly too small
I was hoping that someone would say that it's CMAN235 or CMAN240
So I was either sold a counterfeit part (but why not make an exact copy, prob. difficult to cast a close copy) or my prop. isn't same as one on a 42i (can't think why).
