Does anyone know where it is possible to buy cabin downlighter fittings identical to the ones used by Jeanneau in 2004/5? I want to increase the number of lights in my SO 35. I guess that Jeanneau used the save design in many of their boats around that time and possibly the same design for many years.
The fitting I have removed doesn't have a manufacturers name on it.

You'll probably have to contact Jeanneau to get exact fixtures. The fixtures are not the best, so you might want to look at Imtra. Are you in the USA or elsewhere?

I'm in the UK.
As far as I can see the downlighters are the same as ones used in caravans called "Mercury White Downligters". They appear on a number of caravan equipment suppliers websites in the UK but they are all out of stock and cannot source fresh supplies. I wonder if these downlighters were made by Mercury Lighting in the USA but their website does not have them as current manufacture.

Hi, do a search on 'Jeanneau light switches' (In November 2012) or 44i Head Lining. This subject has been covered before. I got some from a caravan web site in UK, details are on the thread.

Andy

Seagem, Thank you very much for such a helpful reply. In actual fact the Nova lights are not like the ones in my SO35 and I've concluded that they are now unavailable. However, my trawl of the internet had come up with exactly the same Nova lights as the best alternative. It's great to have confirmation that they are suitable. I'll go ahead and buy them. They are actually cheaper at www.leisurepower.co.uk Thanks again

Peterjb, You are welcome. Mine have got halogen bulbs in them at the moment but as they wear out I am going to replace them with LED bulbs. I thought you might like to consider going down the LED route while you were at it! www.boatlamps.co.uk/contents/en-uk/d12.htmlRegards Andy
