Jeanneau have a freelance gel coat magician, he is called Pascal Gautier and he travels the world repairing Jeanneau boats, he was sent by Jeanneau to Lanzarote to sort my many gelcoat cracks and voids, he is a real craftsman. The difficulty is getting Jeanneau to send him. I achevied this by visiting the Cannes and Düsseldorf boat shows and arranging meetings with Eric Stromberg and the one of the after sales directors Pascal Louizeau (think he has just changed jobs), eventually they realised I wasn't going away, and 2 years after boat purchase all sorted. If anyone wants Pascal Gautiers contact details pm me, however he only speaks French.
regards
ab
and many thanks to Malcolm P for the initial contact with jeanneau.

3yr 33i, numerous cracks and after 9 months and survey, deck has major problems. They have offered replacing 80% of side decks and topping with teak. Quote I have seen is £18k plus Jeanneau will provide the teak. You must get surveys done on these cracks. Whole process has been awful, with 3x rejections on warranty claims. Currently seeing if there is anyway I can reject the boat. There is something not right for a process that is supposed to provide a flawless deck.
