Cruising the waters of southern Tasmania is about to become much easier.
The Derwent Sailing Squadron will soon launch its String of Pearls project - moorings placed in interesting locations throughout the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, Norfolk Bay, Huon River and Tasman Peninsula - premier Tasmanian cruising waters.
Moorings are aligned with on shore activities and attractions such as historic convict coal mines, great food and beverages that include oysters, cheeses, seafood, whisky and wines.
A booking system means you will be able to plan an itinerary over several days and string together a number of pearls for a truly memorable adventure.
If visiting Tasmania in your yacht is on your bucket list, start planning now! And if its not on your bucket list... it should be!
Stay tuned for more details soon.
