I have lost the stick-on chromed plastic letter "J" from where it says Jeanneau on one cabin side of my SO32. I guess the letter is about 40mm high, it's the curvy typeface not the squareish one.
My local dealer has said you can only get the full name, and inc delivery and VAT it's coming out to nearly £30. A bit much for one plastic letter!
Anyone know an alternative source please, or does anyone need other letters from the name and we can share?

I had two "E"s damaged during the topside polishing job. Luckily the word Jeanneau has two. The only way I found was to order them from Jeanneau USA directly> Price, while expensive, it is about right.

I presume the reason they sell them in word sets is because of spacing issues - but normally you can see where they have been glued.
I have had a couple fall off, but luckily found them in the toe rail scupper each time. They are likely to be bespoke mouldings and now that the Jeanneau font and logo has changed will need to ensure you get the correct model year . I also would presume getting the older design may get harder as stocks reduce.
I think if I loose any I may well take them off entirely and just leave the Jeanneau star - the other option is to replace with a vinyl graphic, which at least will stand the test of time and vigorous washing etc

The reason it is a whole word is because it is an optimised process for fitting it at build. They would have a jig to align it correctly. We do this all the time in the automotive industry - same technology. I have used epoxy to replace mine (like Malcolm mine landed in the toerail) and not the double sided that comes originally. You could try find someone like these guys who may be able to match it: chromecarletters.com/3d_chrome_lettering.html

Here in Holland I just bought 2 new complete Jeanneau name logo's. I paid only €15,- /pcs via a local Jeanneau dealer. Shipment came directly from Jeanneau France.

That's a similar price to the Parts list for the 36i. "LOGO ABS CHROME JEANNEAU € 12,49" Should you be paying delivery on parts from a dealer? Seems to defeat the point of a dealership network as you may as well have it delivered to you directly.

You cannot order directly at Jeanneau. Since this is the only dealer for Holland I am happy it was send directly to me.
