I have just purchased a 1999 42.2 PTE. I know I should have asked what PTE stands for at the time but I will be grateful if anyone can let me know the meaning. Thanks Nick

I think PTE has something to do with the keel, perhaps it indicates shoal draft.

Looked up some specs, PTE is the shoal keel, GTE would be the deep keel version.

PTE = Petit Tirant d'Eau = Small draft GTE = Grand Tirant d'Eau = Long draft
