Hello all-
We took out 360 Docking equipped 45DS out for a rousing sail today. I felt the prop spinning while sailing. Is there a way to lock the prop to prevent this behavior? On conventionally equipped boats I would put the transmission in reverse but that won't work on a boat with 360 Docking.
Thanks!
Chris

I wonder if the solution is to just put it into gear forward?
I can see the logic of engaging reverse gear in cars (probably a higher ratio than first and therefore better "braking") but I am not sure if it makes a difference on boats???

I spoke to the dealer and Gilles at Jeanneau and both said the same thing; because the clutch is electronically controlled, when the engine is off the clutch is disengaged.
A folding prop was recommended as the only solution to prevent the prop from freewheeling while sailing.
