Hi,
We have a SO 37 from 2001. The plastic/nylon part of the drop down piece of the roller is nearly worn away, there is no makers mark on it which makes it hard to track a new one down. If anyone has any bright ideas as to where I might get a new one it would be most appreciated.
Cheers Paul

Hi,
We are in Greece and have found Jeanneau about as helpful as chocolate cafe pot in the past, so was looking for other avenues.

I have found the people ant Clark and Carter (www.jeanneauspares.com) very quick and helpful. It took about 5 days to get a cutlass bearing from them, not bad for UK to Australia.

If it is the main roller part, it is probably just made from stock nylon rod, might you be able to get someone locally to turn a new one in a lathe?

Dont get me wrong I dont want to boast , but before last years season started I made mine myself. Spent some time searching the internet and couldn't find one , lost my patience and decided to go for it myself. Since I had to dismantle the roller to install a bowsprit (and therefor needed to make some spacers) I just put the old lathe back to work. There's really nothing to it you know , if you dont own a lathe maybe you knwo someone who does. Regards
