I have a new (to me) 1984 Arcadia. I was out for a sail yesterday in gusty conditions. When I returned to the dock, I noticed the genoa track had pulled off the deck at the car. It looks like the track was held on by short screws. As the track is bent, I will have to replace it.
Does anyone know the OEM for the genoa track / cars on this model. If it helps, I can post a picture (will take a day or 2 as I will have to go down the boat and take a pic).
Thanks Greg

goiot.com will get you to the OM site. I would suggest if you have the issue it sounds like. Do yourself a favor, and buy a newer version. The original version is not equal for a lack of better term to the new stuff from Lewmar, Harken, etc. The newer stuff is a bit more standardized, the old not so. My tracks were held with really thin aluminum nuts and bolts. The washers on the lower side where barely bigger than the nut. I put a new track along with some 1"/25mm or so fender washers, along with line controls for the carr's. www.jeanneau-owners.com/hintsandtips/towablegenoacarandtrack.html the how I did the new tracks. Thanks. I was hoping at least for this season to just replace the track. I'm going to look into new as well. Will let you know what I decide.
