Hi We are the happy new owners of a 2003 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32 which has two bilge keels and centre lifting keel. We would like to club race and wonder if anyone can give us a handicap number, which we can use as a trial number? Any format would be great, PY, Clyde, IRC Thank you

Hi!, None of those yardsticks but the PHRF ratings of a lot of production boats can be found at www.phrfsocal.org/roster/ratings_by_mfg.xlsGo down to line 1620. Yes there are lots of yachts in the list. The SF32 rates about the same as a 39ip Regards David

David,
That is one of the fastest if not fastest SF32 ratings in phrf that I have seen Usually they are in the 120 range in the US. any how. the 147 for the SO32 seems about right. The OP might be a bit slower due to the CB style boat vs an SF or SO32 with fixed keels of some sort. The 110 for the SF 35's is on par with what I have seen in the states too.

David,
Yes that be an SF3200! That would be about the correct rating for one of them.
