Hi every one I am new on here and just finding my way around. Does anyone know the out side diameter of the black diesel supply line from the Port diesel tank. My boat is a Sun Odyssey 49 and I am converting the Starboard water tank to carry diesel. I am hoping to join the two tanks at the primary filter located behind the door to the Starboard rear cabin. However the boat is in Turkey so I would like to take out the necessary bits from the UK, hope some one can help

I'm fairly sure that this thick diesel line is standardized, on my 57 it is ISO 7840, 19mm (3/4"), and I think that is what I had on my 49DS. When I inquired about making one water tank into a fuel tank on that boat I was told that the blue water tank shouldn't be used for fuel (both by Jeanneau and the tank manufacturer in France).

Well thanks for that although I really didn't want to hear that so next question does anybody know who manufacturers the water tanks for Jeanneau

davituso - the same company also makes the Jeanneau "diesel-safe" plastic tanks out of black plastic. The company that makes them is L'Ocean des Pastics (contact@loceanedesplastics.fr) but they told me that if I wanted a tank from them I would have to go through a Jeanneau dealer. Their additional contact information is:
