Hi all, 2018 S.O.
I found the discharge valve under the sinks (2 heads) It's a big blue handle connected to a big thru hull. In one head it works fine, in the other, nothing happens
Is there another valve I am supposed to turn? I looked at the tank but I don't see any Y type of valve that could direct the flow towards the thru hull
Thx friends

That big blue valve is all it should take to let gravity do its job and drain the holding tank.
If the holding tank is full and it isn't draining then things get a bit complicated.
How long has the effluent been sitting in there?
The solutions are mechanical and/or chemical. If your holding tank pumpout is directly above the tank you might be able to use a metal rod to break up the clog. I've also tried sealing the top and using an air pump to put some more pressure that might break up the matter clogging the outlet. That could end badly, as I'm sure you can imagine...
I'm not sure which chemical method you could use - it depends upon whether your holding tank is metal or plastic.
If you are somewhere with a pumpout you could empty the tank and then partially fill it with a clog-breaking chemical and go sailing in rough water to shake it up.

There can always be another valve, but you would hope that if installed it would be available to reach/see. Might you have 2 holding tanks and hull outlet valves?
If time is on your side, and you suspect a sludge/crust build up blockage, you could poor a load of enzyme based cleaner down the offending heads and in around a week, if it isn’t near freezing, it just might turn it to sludge , and clean the pipe in the process.
Google Roebic Drain Cleaner K67 or similar.
Failing that ……… well let’s not go there just now, I’m having breakfast!

Another possibility is that the valve spindle attached to the valve handle has sheared. This happened with mine and it seemed that the valve was opening and closing when in fact the spindle wasn't operating the valve at all.

unfortunately no pump out station around….
the tank is plastic so I’ll do some research for a chemical matter hasn’t been standing more than a few days. The valve has never been open in 5 years though…. ill try also your idea about a stick… thx!!

Another possibility is going in the water with a flexible rod to try to ‘open the gate’ from the outside in the outlet. Also a possibility is using airpump for inflatables from outside, low pressure and perhaps blockage went inn first and comes out later.
good luck with this sh#t 🤢
