Hi All I thought I would share this info regarding replacement of the inner oven door Glass for older ENO models. Though in the UK, Ian and Paul of Penguin Engineering are the Uk distributor of ENO Hobs and you can get all the spares you need from these two very helpful chaps. But my oven dated back to 2005!! And are no longer available as a spare. When I bought the vessel one of the declared defects was that the inner glass of the oven door was broken. This as it turned out was quite the mission to find a replacement. Below is a Pic of the oven and the offending door. But eventually I found a chap call Dave Stoppard who runs "marine Systems Engineering" out of Ocean Quay in Southampton UK. TEL: 07971624295. He repairs and services marine gas and appliances and installations. As it turned out he does have a few second hand ones in stock so be quick. Now here is the Rub. He informed me that this is a fairly common failure due to people unscrewing the fixing screws cleaning the glass and then refitting but over tightening the two fixing screws. Glass gets hot, expands and shatters too much shouting and general sadness!!!! So when replacing try to place with the slight convex face on the inside of the oven door ie towards your "Fray Bentos" pie!!. And just don't over-tighten the retaining screw just snug and back off a wee tad!! Hope this post is of use. Captain Sticky

Thanks for sharing, and whilst on the subject of pies, and having been in the dire situation of not being able to remove the pie tin lid with nowt else on board to ‘heat and eat’ , I invested in a
Lantana 2 in 1 Safety/Smooth Edge Tin Can Opener & Bottle Opener - Black/Stainless Steel
From Amazon , the ultimate manual tin opener for the owner of old over used hands, tackles any tin with ease , an onboard ‘must have’,
The pie was eventually edible, but the joy of lid removal was better.
