Zinc anode bow thruster

Hi,

my neighbours in the boat yard have zinc anodes on their bow thruster propellers. My bow thruster is the original one from Jeanneau (SO 409, 2012) and I do not have zincs. Do you have zinc anodes on your thruster props.

If you have “Quick” now thruster there usually are rounded cone shaped zincs for that.

I just checked the kind of bow thruster I have.
It is a Max-Power CT100.

Result: No anodes

One more thing.
If you have a Max-Power bow thruster, make sure you take off the props once a year and apply some silicone grease on the shaft. Helps to prevent corrosion. It is also mentioned in the manual!.
