hi all I have a 419 and the pedestal hand guard is lower than the wheel. It is not safe for me (see pict) I am looking to add a more classic hand guard, that goes higher that the wheel so nobody grabs the latter by accident. I would like to add something on the existing chrome "circle" you see on the picture. I don't want to put a whole new pedestal guard

I had my local SS guy make these. two anchor points on the vertical bulkhead just in front of the wheels and one on the top near the electric winch buttons.

Hi - I had the same problem on my 439, see grab handle solution in the photo. Its through-bolted to the table stainless steel grad rails. I made a mock up of this in wood and plastic first to determine dimensions and clearance needed for the plotter, then had it made by a local stainless fabricator. Works really well, especially in heavier weather. Its position allows someone moving aft or forward to have continuous handhold while protecting the plotter
