Hi, Have a NC11 (2015) and wanna mount a radar on the roof and do wiring for 12V and connect to Plotter. In an attempt to figure out on how to do the wiring I wanna remove the ceiling to find existing wiring for horn and TV antenna located on the roof. Anyone who knows or has any ideas on how to remove the ceiling? Cannot find any visual screws etc. Velcroed?
Many thanks for support.

Hi Petergeb
Jeanneau often use a system for the ceiling of interlocking ply panels and sometimes industrial velcro.
Can you see any plastic cap screws on either the port or starboard sides above the windows?
If so it may be like on the 39i. Remove the screws then the panel should drop a little, the panel has a tab which slides under the next panel, so carefully pull that out. You should then see screws that hold the next panel and so on.
Please let the forum know, and preferably take photos,.
Good luck Malcolm

Very appreciated. Thanks. Will go there within a few weeks (still winter here) and do the checking.

Good luck Petereb
Might be worth calling the dealer where you bought her as well. If there are no plastic screw covers, then probably industrial Velcro. Please keep forum informed on what you find and if possible some photos.
Cheers Malcolm

Did you find a way to remove the interior ceiling?

Hi Petergeb,
No need to remove the ceiling in the cabin to find a way from roof to plotter 😅. When you remove the polyester hatch in the ceiling outside with the 12 screws, you will find access at Port side to the hollow pilar at the end of the kitchen which ends in the technical area at port (where the waterheater is located). I used excisting wires from horn and VHF as a guide. From there you can go to the dash through the cellar, ending in the shower wall, bring it up to the plotter area accessible by removing the panel at the shower roof. Can be a challenge to wire but can be done, much easier and better than through the ceiling.
succes with it. Hans
