Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl flooring inside in Galley

I was looking at possibly using Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl flooring in my galley (54DS) and possibly in the Salon. It looks nice, easy to clean, but I am not sure how easy it would be to install. My first thought was to try it in the Galley by simply cutting a piece to fit and then use Velcro or two sided tape to hold down the edges. Since the Galley is a step down and if it was cut to fit perfectly across the entire floor, it should not move (Adding Velcro etc. would ensure that).

Has anyone used this product before?

 

If not, does anyone have experience with something else, marine carpet etc. I am sure plenty of people have rugs but that is pretty obvious solution as well.
