It looks like the removal of the throttle leaver requires just the removal of the grub screw (underneath) and then 'wriggle it off'.
I'm at then point of levering it and almost starting to damage the plastic....
Anyone done this already?

You need to put quite a lot of WD40 or similar lube, then you might be able to get a flat blade screwdriver at the back of the lever. It is on splines, so yes needs patience to wiggle it off. Good luck. Malcolm

I had a throttle lever which just spun round and failed to engage forward/neutral/reverse. I have photos of how it all dismantled if you need them but the initial job was to remove the grub screw, which you've done, and then as MalcolmP says, the lever just sits on a spline so should lever off with some wiggling and lubrication.
