The windscreen washers on my MF695 have stopped working although I can still hear the pump whirring when the switch is clicked on and the small water tank is still half full of water. Initial investigation has not revealed the problem. Any suggestions please? Thanks. PS Was working a few weeks ago.

Is there anything blocking the arm movement? Is there a separate fuse for the arm movement? Sounds like the motor works.

Sorry if my original post was not too clear. The windscreen wipers themselves are working ok. Its the washers i.e. small jets of clear water that have stopped working.

Clearly, something got in the line to plug it. I would first try removing the tube from the wiper and see if it squirts. If it does, that means that the problem is in the wiper arm or the nozzle itself. You can try using a fine needle in the nozzle by inserting very carefully.
