Anchor chain jammed as we raised anchor. Back to berth, jam cleared. Still windlass fails to operate. Likely circuit breaker tripped. But does any one know where it is? Found the relay under the fore cabin, but no obvious circuit breaker there. No sign of circuit breaker at the house batteries, the engine battery, nor the electrical panel.
Any advice appreciated before I dismantle ever follow the wires.

You say you found the relay, did you check and see if you had power there?

Different boat but the circuit breaker and isolation switch for my windlass is next to the main battery isolation switches. A small black switch on a black background in a dark place. I did add an LED indicator light to show when the isolation switch was on. It may be in the same place in your boat. And welcome to the forum, you will find lots of help and good info here.

Thanks for the replies. Just in case anyone else needs to know. Found it, hidden in plain sight, its next to the house batteries mastet switches. Port side affixed to the bench seat.
