I have been searching for some time now, and finally decided the NC 795 was the perfect boat for me to start my weekend water voyages.
Up to now, I have been using my Mercedes / Thor Sanctuary B-Class van for camping around the USA (YouTube channel "Adventure Mom", and decided I wanted to expand my adventures to the water. I took it for a sea trial yesterday and although it was horrible conditions with about a million other boaters on the water producing many big waves bouncing me around, I still liked the boat.
I am getting AC, bow thruster, refrigerator, 2 burner electric cooktop, shower, water heater, Large Garmin full navigation, with a 250HP Yamaha. The purchase price is right around $130k + taxes ... does that seem like a fair price?
I will need to add a couple of upgrades right away such as solar charging, another house battery, small Honda generator, ceramic tint, and a marine barbecue on some sort.
What other items are a must?

Looks like you got a great price. I presume it is a new boat.

Yes, New boat. I completed the purchase yesterday and now the waiting begins. I should be picking it up in a couple of weeks as they need to install the Bow Thruster, Refrigerator, and Hot Water Heater. They are doing all the commissioning and installations now.

Do you mind if I ask if that's the Sport or the Weekender? And which dealer you bought it from? I've been looking for a used one and a 2019 outfitted almost the same is going for the low-mid $90s. That seems like a really great price, it might be worth it for me to order new. Thanks! Tom

You might look at the Magma stainless steel grill, I've had one for about 30 years and it's still going strong, many different mounting options.
I don't know how familiar you are with boating, or where you'll be boating, but a few things to consider are a smaller 2nd anchor for stern anchoring, about 26' of galvanized or SS anchor chain on your forward anchor, ditch bag, inflatable dinghy (CG approved lifeboat if going far offshore), waterproof handheld VHF radio in your ditch bag, EPIRB or similar. Yeti cooler if you'll be spending a lot of time anchored away from shore power. Best of luck... enjoy!

Tom, I am purchasing my Weekender Jeanneau NC 795 boat from Thunder Marine near Tampa, FL. If you are interested, let Seth know that Adventure Mom recommended Thunder Marine ... he will help you out.
I am also looking at the Magma grill as it seems to be highly recommended. Thanks for all the tips.

I just started a new thread last week about my experience with the new NC795 S2 and you may want to read it. We are having a lot of problems with the boat. Our previous boat was a 2020 NC795 made in Michigan. We wanted the upgrades, however, and sold that and ordered a new 2023 model which, we found out later, was made in Poland. It’s a cheaply and poorly made boat. The lithium batteries are already failing, the gel coat has multiple stress cracks in it (we just had some fixed at a cost of $1200, hopefully Jeanneau will reimburse. The rest of the cracks, I’m told, will be another $3200 to fix!), some of the stainless steel hardware is already rusting, the forward hatch leaks and some of the cockpit deck hatches were not installed properly and need to be stepped on in order to close them (which, over time, will cause the hinges to fail or crack the fiberglass). Two of the melamine blocks used to attach slide bolts have come off because the screws were stripped by whoever installed them. The A/C is weak and doesn’t have enough BTU’s to do the job in Florida heat (we live in Merritt Island, FL). That’s about it. Personally, I would not buy the boat and look for something better built with better quality materials for what it’s worth.

And, by the way, we paid over $182k for the thing. Prices during COVID were greatly inflated!

O no! We just bought a Polish 795 boat 2023 from a boat club in Anacortes WA It’s a very stripped down boat but only paid $105,000 for it and it had a Mercury OB on it which we prefer Probably have to put about 30k into it so will wait to see if the problems arise like you indicated before dump a bunch of money in it I did see some rust on the stainless and the hull is quite oxidized We have been looking for a year and thought this boat met our needs and was affordable
