Bulldog 8 alloy anchor, 2.8kg
Incredibly light for the holding power, should be OK for an 8m boat.
I think £120 plus £6.50 delivery would be reasonable as the much lighter FX-7 1.8kg anchors seem to fetch £100.
I can't remember what SVB were selling them for, probably around £175 and I'm guessing it would now be about £190.
SVB used to sell it and claimed it outperformed other anchors with 238 daN (approx. 243kg pull). Not bad for a 2.8 kg vs. other anchors in the test weighing 10-15.4kg.

Very similar to the Fortress anchor but they don't have a 2.8kg model, closest is 3.2kg

That's in line with cheapest FX-11 I could find at £213
I bought this anchor because I needed something light and easy to deploy to hold my Jeanneau 42DS pointing into swell. I only used it 3 times in sand and it was great, certainly very easy to deploy from my dinghy. Flukes have 2 angle positions but I only ever used it on the shallower setting. It rattles a bit as everything is a loose fit for easy assembly but parts are solid and well made. I imagine Fortress also rattle when assembled.
I don't get swell in Greece and decided to free up locker space. I had about 4m of chain and 60m 10mm octoplait but that was too heavy to bring home in my luggage.

- FX-11 3.2kg approx. £213 - £296 (replaces normal 5-6kg anchor for 8-10m boat)
