We are preparing for an Alaska cruise and would like to carry a spare fresh water pump just in case. We have a Floret R403-505 but it is now obsolete. This link recommends a Jabsco 31395-2512-3A. But the recommended unit is only 25 psi and feels low. Jabsco 31395-4012-3A is instead 40 psi and seems better though I don't know if this will put too much pressure on the system. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I got an answer directly from Jabsco about the same question. They said that my water heater is rated to 2,5bar max so I should choose 1,7bar pump (25psi).

Thanks Ales. That is interesting. Our water heater is Isoterm Basic and is rated at 55 psi. Wondering what else in the system will matter though.

I replaced my accumulator tank a few years ago because it rusted out. Could not get the old one out, but ran a set of water lines into the fwd head where I installed a water filter, a pressure gage, and a new accumulator. All works well.

The accumulator on my 2011 39i started leaking this summer. Upon removal I found that the internal rubber bladder had split at some point in the past, thus rusting the inside of the accumulator and finally the outer rubber seal failed and the unit started leaking. Previously I had installed a Johnson Pump -Aqua Jet Flow Master Pump, 5.0 GPM, #10-13329-103. It was a drop-in replacement for the factory pump. This variable speed pump does not need an accumulator. So when my accumulator starting leaking I simply removed it and replaced it with a piece of 15mm tubing. It all works great, BTW -Mic
