Just an update - Blade is sold. We have taken a deposit and just waiting for the paperwork to be finalised, changing from a UK flag to a Spanish flag. That was a lot quicker than I ever imagined - now onto the next one.

Did look at the Sunfast 3600's or the new Sunfast 3300 as we use the boat for regattas 9 months of the year and then cruising the other 3 months - but actually came across something quite different - as a result of looking at the fleet list for the Sydney Hobart race. The boat we are looking at is this www.mat.com.tr/1070-render-1 - fits into our mooring which is always good. Went to the factory in Izmir beginning of April and had a test sail in Istanbul a couple of weeks ago - we just hope we can adapt it enough to be suitable for cruising. So no longer part of the Jeanneau family - but interesting times ahead.

Exciting, but you of course are most welcome to stay part of this group and let us know how the new boat (which looks amazing) compares with your Jeanneau.
