The Jeanneau rubber cutlass bearing has a flange on one end. Does this fit adjacent to the propellor or the engine side Thanks in advance

Flange fits on the propeller side. It can generally be fitted an removed without removing the propeller shaft and is held in place by two grub screws.

Thanks for that. I had to take the prop off to fit a new prop seal. The cutlass bearing was previously fitted as you have said and I just thought it would be more secure fitted with the flange forward of the P bracket but as you have pointed out it now makes sense. Cheers Tarn
