I was able to successfully winterize our AC system last year by running the AC while filling the water system with pink stuff. I had to shut off the water intake at the thru hull filling and just pour the pink in. Worked great.
I did forget to winterize the orange pump which removes the condensation. I just removed the pump last year, but it is a bugger to get back on.
This year, I wanted to winterize the condensation pump by pouring pink stuff in the condensation tray. I am assuming this would work fine and I can do that after winterizing the water line.
Is this the right way?

That shouldn't be a problem. The only potential issue I can think of is the compatibility of the "pink stuff" and the type of tubing used on the "orange pump". (I am guessing it is an Aspen pump? They use silicon tubing I believe.
