Hello everybody. I'm introducing myself as a new owner of 1999 SO 36.2 bought in July. Well preserved old lady, we just came back from 3 week cruise around Croatian islands near Split. Other than leaking front water tank there were no issues regarding function and equipment. I noticed though the steering wheel is a bit stiff compared to other boats I have sailed, also with a little lag that's not bothering. I'll have to replace some halyards and sheets pulley wheels, the time and elements have deteriorated the plastic. If anybody has any advice regarding this model I would appreciate it. Thanks, Klemen Koper, Slovenia

Hi Klemen, welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your purchase. You will find many like minded friendly folk here, and lots of good information in the archives. Good for winter reading, (or lockdown reading these days!)
With that rudder, it might be worth checking all the linkage and drive from the wheel in case something needs a small adjustment. There is always so much to learn about a new boat.
We all look forward to hearing about your sailing adventures. You have a beautiful waterway.
