Curious as you are the one order ahead of me....Sundance hasn't yet notified me of any expected delivery dates. I really wasn't expecting it this year but was at least hoping to get a build or ship date before the end of the year.

My 895 Weekender was estimated to arrive mid-January. Now only a month away. Still no word from Sundance. I understand delays in today's environment, but not the lack of communication. I can track the delivery of a box of rocks to anywhere in the world, but Jeanneau can't tell us where their boats are? If they are delayed and not yet ready to ship, say so. If delivery dates have slid 90 days to the right, say so. We have mooring slips to reserve, insurance to pay, notes to sign, etc. Jeanneau can do better.

The USA market was fed by the Jeanneau factory in Cadillac Michigan, but they are closing this year and shifting all manufacturing to Polen, so the delays will probably increase next year. We just (yesterday) took delivery of our preowned Mar/April 2021 NC795 as it’s called here in USA. Ours only had 13 hrs on it when we started checking it. New ones were all sold already. It’s one of the hottest boat on the market. Ours came with the Yamaha 200, but I really was looking for the 250. It performs Ok but we’re only 2 in the boat and it’s not loaded down yet!! How is the 795 with the 250? Anyone with a 300? We have the Fridge and AC but not the Lithium batteries. We might go for that or a smallish generator for camping out. We’re in Florida so it’s hot here most of the time. Has anyone installed window tints to cut down on the heat/sun/UV? One of my pet Pieve are the windshield vipers. Ours starts/stops in the middle and not like the sales brochure at the sides. It also leaves a big blind spot in the middle of the screen where the vipers do not reach. Has anyone modified this? We bought a mini Sd card for South FL for our Garmin echomap uhd 93 and it was $350 at West Marine in Florida. I understand you can use Active captain to download free maps but I wanted it at my fingertips at all time. It works well. I know, many questions but I’m over all happy with the boat. Just some stuff to iron out. Thanks, Erik Window tints help considerably in hot areas to lower inside temperature like around 5 degrees centigrade. This is not enough but it is something. Also they provide good protection from sun rays for your eyes. I am in south of Turkey in the med. However if you go for a total tint, you wont be able to see outside after dark. The front window may be tinted from the top partially like in cars. I would recommend leaving some portions untinted adjecent to the pilot on port and starboard side windows.
As for the windshield wipers, they are angle adjustable. I am not sure but I think they can also work in parallel and intermittently, if set so. They are set at 45 degrees default by the manufacturer. Jeanneau puts them as they come from the box and makes no adjustments. They can go as for as 110 degrees. Some do it following instructions from the internet. But I found someone in the marina to solve the problem. A good dealer may also help, if they want to.
I hope this helps. Safe cruises and best regardsI

We ordered a 2022 NC795 in late April with the expectation that it would be delivered by the end of 2021. Our dealer has been keeping us in the loop and its supposed to arrive here mid February, which considering all the supply chain issues isn't bad. Hopefully I can update with a delivery pic soon.

Yes, my agent is in Thailand and much as I fully understand the difficulties in construction industry at the moment, the lack of communication from my agent is doubling the frustration unfortunately!!

Just spoke to the dealer today and the biggest issue is transport from the factory to here. Boat is apparently done, just need to get it here. He has a call with the factory Wednesday, so should have another update then.

@hhsgypsy - Any good news?
Maybe, just maybe, things are moving again on the construction front in the Jeanneau yards? I had confirmation of May completion for my boat.

Unfortunately not, my salesman reached out this past Wednesday to let me know my boat isn’t on a ship as we had hoped. Apparently it’s complete but they are having challenges getting them shipped to North America. They also had a few parts shortages that meant some boats were waiting for parts. They are talking to the factory tomorrow again to see if they can get an update. Another 795 that was ordered the same time as ours showed up a week ago, so it should be soon.

To add insult to injury, received an email today from the trailer dealer that the trailer I placed a deposit on back in September went up in price 40%!! So I canceled the order and will be mooring the boat when it arrives.

I finally have some definitely news to update. My 2022 895 Sport is now in Portland Sundance for the final inspection and fittings of VHF and other minor installations. The helm masters and twin Yamaha OBs are installed and working properly.
Hopefully I can take delivery of the new boat before the end of this month.

Congratulations, its been a long wait. Its also great news for me as my boat is the next in line...if it's ok I would like to check out the rigging when it's up at the dealers. If you let Rob know he can get a hold of me.

It performs Ok but we’re only 2 in the boat and it’s not loaded down yet!! How is the 795 with the 250? Anyone with a 300? We have a 2017 795 with the 200 and I'm really unconvinced that you need the 250. This summer we transported a huge load of supplies for a cabin renovation - it was hilarious, every cubic inch of the boat was stuffed to bulging with all sorts of stuff. Including the head, stacked up literally to the ceiling. Also three average sized people, and still no problem cruising along at 23kt. It burned more fuel, of course. Commenting to the above, I feel the same with my 2020 795 that a 250 would be better. However proper use of trim tabs, the right propellor, clean bottom and some engine control experience are also important speed factors. One also should take into account that looking at the prospects, if I am not mistaken, S2 is considerably a heavier boat than S1 to begin with. With Evinrude G2, 200 small block, 2,7 liters, 6 cylinder engine, I am able to do 25 kts with 4 persons and loaded boat, easily in fair weather. Under these conditions, planing starts around 18 knots with the use of trim tabs. The propellor is a 17 pitch. The boat with 2 persons and slightly loaded did 34.3 knts in test runs with 18 pitch propellor under slight to medium windy conditions and relatively small waves.

Thanks ! Commissioning will take a few days. Will definitely check out some common areas in addition to a check list: batteries set up and wiring; new auto pilot / head hold / course hold system; dual engine fly by wire steering; engines tilting out of water, etc

Hi, good luck with boat. For the windshield wipers; search old topics. there is a way to change the "sweep " of the motor and can cover the entire windshield for the generator, be careful ( I would not do) of portables. I think Lithium batteries may give you more reserve but you need to charge and look at the requirements. The electric and batteries are minimal vs US standards. They put a mercury outboard with electric steering and small house batteries. Not much room for extra electric consumption. I like the Jeanneau line but there are faults and electric is the largest. i had an NC 895 and now a Leader 9.0 and there is no central circuit panel. i have to crawl all over to start generator, and active various circuits. The first lead-acid battery after I got my R69S lasted about 12 years. I changed to a spade-terminal maintenance-free battery from Vech. I had to create a small box transition from the harness ring terminals to a small trailer pigtail wires that pushed on to the spade battery terminals. The battery on the /2 is there strictly to provide power for the lights when the engine revs are low enough that the generator is not outputting enough. Once running down the road, the generator takes over. With proper care, a lead-acid battery should last a long time. Can't say as I've heard people consider using a lithium-ion battery. I don't know how compatible the charging profile of the bike is with what the battery needs.

Everyone with a interest,
Ordered a 795 s2 at FLBS October 2021, thought 795's were built in Michigan (wrong) they changed production with 895. Now 795 are built in Poland with a delievery of Feb 2022. Well things were delayed and boat arrived May 18th 2022, missing wiring harness and steering cylinder. All but one harness came in, now the AC inverter is a cause of concern. Boat has sat awainting parts and AC problem, went to see it and although I ordered it with the new pearl white 250 it arrived in Yamaha Grey. Jeanneau & Yamaha have a package that does not permit the new white moter? I'm really taken back at that knowing the white motor will make the boat pop!
As we wait on AC to be fixed the motor is off the boat being stripped to be painted white now to match the hull color! Its been over 2 months since we unvieled it, could of had alot of add on's completed but have not? One more week until the motor is back from paint and heard nothing from Service in in over 3 weeks on AC.
Dont know too many owners that have waited this long for delievery once boat is stateside!
