We have a 2001 SODS with standard fridges.
Does anyone have tips on successful ice making?
Do you use bags?
I think I can get ice only with direct contact with the cooling circuit
Thoughts most welcome welcome, Greece is HOT at the moment 🥵

Hi there
I have setup the smaller of them as a freezer and I use reusable plastic ice cube makers
Cheers

Check out Lidl. They were selling an ice maker for around £79 last week. It was small enough to fit under the salon seats.
You would need shore power to run it but as ice cubes were coming out of it within 7 mins you could make up a whole bag of it overnight to put into the fridge.
It would also improve the efficiency of the fridge.
There's a Lidl in Lefkas.

andreshs1 - that sounds interesting. Could you briefly outline what was required, and maybe a rough guide to cost? Thanks
