Hello all, I am new to owning an NC 11 and have a question for other owners. This particular one tends to run best with tabs and drives all the way down. In fact If I neglect to reset the drives to the farthest down position it has difficulty planing at all. Has anyone played around with stabilizer foils on the outdrives? I have had them on outboards in the past and they were very helpful.

Hi. My experience is the drives need to be trimmed all the way down. I only use tabs full down to get on plane then zero tabs unless one side or other to balance out. At plane (above 15mph or so) I don’t normally need tabs. If you have a lot of heavy things in the aft storage, full fuel tanks and water tank and people sitting at the back it might cause an issue so move some junk and people forward until planed ?
