After owning our Swan 44 for 25 years we sold the boat and bough a nice second hand Jeanneau 50DS out of Ohio. We had the boat shipped from Catawba Island, Ohio to Seabrook, Texas and she arrived without a scratch. The boat has the Dock 360 Option which, as long as it works, is a very neat option. Our boat is a two cabin model with a Midnight Blue Awlgrip Hull. Still trying to get oriented. We have sailed her a couple of times over the last several weeks and it has been very high winds here.

Congrats, and welcome to the forum. My wife and I recently, in April, purchased a 2016 50DS after sailing a Catalina 42 for the last 28 years. We sailed her down from Annapolis to Hampton Va. Depending upon the equipment, you will find the 50DS a nice sailing vessel and a pleasure to own. The Forum is an excellent place to ask questions and seek advice on various issues. I especially recommend the Facebook Forum for Jeanneau Owners. Best of luck with your new boat. Regards. RP
