I've been thinking of replacing the cool white LED dome lights to warmer tone lights since I got my boat. It seemed impossible to replace the LED light sources (bulbs) and I was already about to replace the dome lights with totally different lamp sets. But then I found these: These lights have two brightness settings and are identical with original MF dome lights with the exception of color temperature which is 2900K or warm white and the silver frame. But the old white frames fitted perfectly, and even the mounting holes were identical. Replacing all four old dome lights took less than 30 mins. I purchased the new lights from Biltema. New dome light installed.

Hi Mikeh, are you happy so far with the new lights? Im planning on replacing mine in my 2013 MF755. The existing ones are not LED either, so there is some power saving here. Do you have a link to the products?
Thanks, Bjorn

I felt the same way about those awful lights. I just ordered a few of these for replacement: www.fisheriessupply.com/scandvik-led-dual-color-low-profile-dome-light/41461pThat link may be more helpful for those of us in the US and Canada. The lights are the same size, slim and have both warm white and blue/red (depending on your preference). I’m still waiting on mine to be delivered and will report back once they are installed. They also reportedly have a glowing blue ring around the on/off button so they’re easier to find in the dark.
