Gulf Harbour is a magical place for us. We had our Dutch Van Dam Nordia 19 "Wetnose" there during summers from 2006-2014, and were amazed to find another Van Dam on the same dock! We sold Wetnose in Oz in 2016, and we're now happy SODS sailors in California, but we still miss our days in NZ!

Ha - great minds think alike and to have the three 43DS in NZ in the same marina is a plus, let alone on the same pier !.

43DS owners certainly enthuse about their boats.... a classic in the making??
Genial Bee is aiming to start a 43DS discussion group of some sorts to share information specific to the model... Face book, WhatsApp, Perhaps even here!?!
FB is not universally liked (for obvious reasons) especially down-under. And the latter is not the easiest platform on which to share photos and videos. Perhaps anyone interested should shout out and maybe something can be finalised.

Perhaps anyone interested should shout out and maybe something can be finalised. There is clearly a growing appetite for model specific groups. Indeed one for the Jeanneau Melody 34 has just been started today on Facebook. I agree that FB has many issues, but is the simplest way to set up a group, which can also be private and the ease of uploading photos and files is a major plus. I can set up a 43DS specific section here without any issue, but fully accept the photo issue seems to create issues for many people, which I still find surprising as it is much easier than using a chart plotter. If you do go ahead I am happy to add the group to the ever growing list at: www.jeanneau-owners.com/othergroups.html#model

Thanks for the offer Malcolm.
It's Genial Bee's baby so no doubt he will be in touch.
Appreciate that it is not too difficult to post pics but some of the photo hosting sites put in the very small print that they can control copyright

I know Manaia and Sold The Farm but is there now another 43DS on D pier?
There used to be 2x 42DSs on C pier (I had one) but now I’m on B pier with our new 50DS. There’s an older 4SO49 opposite us so a good representation of Jeanneaus just between B,C & D piers.
We should have a little rally after lockdown (we unwittingly found ourselves amongst a group of Jeanneau owners down at Rotoroa a few weeks ago and got invited to the beach party as a newcomer).

Yes, Zingaro is here now too after a hiatus and on D54 (what are the chances of that)!.
It makes a very pleasant walk down the dock to see so many 43DS ...
