Has anybody fitted a level sensor to the holding tank and if so what did you use?

Thanks Vasko I’m already installing a nmea engine data converter and it had a few spare tank inputs 0 - 190 ohm so I’m tapping in to that. Struggling to find any 0-190 ohm ultrasonic senders so will have to make my own at the moment. Probably use xkc-y25-Pnp for the sensing at 8 levels.
Unless someone has a better idea.

After trying a number of external sensors, I have found that Gobius sonic sensors work well. I found that ultrasonic sensors did not work if you have any internal build up. Both Gobius 4 or Gobius Pro will work well. I used Gobius 4 in order to integrate with my Pico system. The only issue is the 11/4 inch space you need between the tank and module walls or covers so the sensors will fit. Customer service was very helpful.

I installed “Scad TM1” sensors and displays on my plastic tanks. They use external foil tape as sensor and have been working well.

I fitted a Gobius system 4 yrs ago and it has been faultless since then. www.gobius.se . I also confirm that they have impressively good customer service. Andrew
