Where are usually speakers installed on MF795/695? I noticed that if taken from factory you got 2 speakers. What about outside speakers? Somebody installed them also?
Do outside speakers needs to be enclosed or can be installed in dedicated hole(is there a space for that outside?)?
I am asking as i yet don’t have 795, but when it arrives i wanna add some sound system.
Radio will be JL Audio MM50 or Fusion Ra210 or Kicker kmc5. Speakers don’t know yet.

I find the factory installed speakers inside the cabin not enough to listen to music in the cockpit area. Therefore its better to install extra speakers. Some position them to the right and left adjecent to the doors facing each other. I preferred installation up on the roof extension corners, right and left of the round cockpit light. It is easy, you can easily drill round holes for them. You must be careful to drill a spot that will allow you to have enough back distance to install them. Otherwise you may have to put an additional piece between the hole and the speaker.
Additionaly there was a company who customized a 795 in Australia. They had widened the area where the cockpit light sits and closed it with a custom made round piece. The light was again in the same place over this new piece. In this way they were able to create a wider working area to maintain cabels and reinforce items on the roof.

The company in Australia Ihsan is talking about is Moose Marine. They have done a lot of cool installations on 795’s. You can see where my speakers are installed in the cockpit on each side, and they work pretty good. The downside is they are exposed to the weather elements more than up above, but I have not ran into any issues yet.

Thanks ihsan Do you maybe have some pictures of speakers installed? Outside and inside. I found one with outside speakers installed in rear bench. There is no storage in rear bench, just empty space without hatch?

Capt’n Ron, thanks for the pic. Also a good idea. What size speakers do you use? 6.5”? Fusion or?

My 2020 795 came with two Fusion MS-FR6022 speakers. The speaker mounting hole in the fiber glass measures 5 inches.
I have been considering upgrading to:
Kicker White OEM Replacement Marine 6.5" 4Ω Coaxial speaker Bundle - 4 Speakers (Amazon $180).

Thanks ihsan Do you maybe have some pictures of speakers installed? Outside and inside. I found one with outside speakers installed in rear bench. There is no storage in rear bench, just empty space without hatch? The following are the location of the speakers. The two fusions installed by the factory are inside. The other two fusions which I have added are outside. They are one size smaller than the factory installed ones. They were the ones I could get during that time. You can change their colours from white to black. The black covers were inside their box. The factory had put the box inside the boat. There is no storage in rear bench. You can open two hatches to port and starboard and use them. You will find two platforms there which will help you. However these platforms are giving way to empty space. This is a plus to store long objects which you cant fit anywhere. One end rests on the platform facing you and the other end must be secured firmly inside the empty stern area. But İf any thing falls down you may not be able to recover them. This did not happen to me. Somehow they stay firm, when you find a firm resting spot.

Super, thanks for the pics and info.
I will probably go for Kicker 6.5” speakers, inside and outside. Outside would like to install them in roof like you, for better weather protection and to keep aft bench free for storage. Installation depth says 6cm on speakers website. This should be fine, for roof installation inside and outside?

This should be fine, for roof installation inside and outside? If you install your speakers over the roof extension as I have done you should get 5 cm.depth for sure. But the point is to make the cable connections, which require some working space for your hands. It was not that easy. Placing them a little back towards the door may give you more depth and ease. In order to be able to use the empty space inside the aft bench and all the empty areas in the aft of the boat, it is enough to put two hatches there. The round one in the middle is only for observation.

ihsan do you know model number of yours outside speakers?
Why do you need extra room for hands? You connect speakers wiring while outside, and mount them.
Nice idea for a hatch. This is on your boat?? This is real teak floor?

Its been over a year now since these additions were made all at the same time when the boat was still on land at the time of the delivery. - The same model as the Fusions inside but one size smaller. At the moment the model number is not next to my reach. - It is mostly got to do with the lenght and reach of the cable and it is not easy to work hands up and make the connection and place them back in a small tight closed hole. - THe cockpit area is real teak but later on I found the U deck, Marin decking. Cabin area and the decks are U deck now. This material is strong, resists steins, does not get hot, flexible, walking on it is safe and comfortable. After taking measures the pieces are made by cutting them with CNC machine. Therefore lines are perfect, the black colour also becomes apperent after removing 3 mm.s from the original material again by CNC. So you have a three dimensional lay out. You have got choise of grey and black which I think is also nice in 795. Altogether the material is 6 mm. and that seems to be good choice for this purpose.
