Hi All
New owner. 2021 NC 895 Sport. Ft. Lauderdale.
I saw a couple other owners mention that their 895 sport lists slightly to starboard.
Mine is doing the same thing. I was hoping, members could opine on what the solution was, prior to it going back to the dealer.
It is scheduled to go in for some other warranty work and want them to correct this issue. Thus far, the family is loving the boat and we are just working the new boat kinks out.
Thanks.

Hi, I am waiting for a NC895_Verado 500hp Offshore for May. What is the warranty job to do? If Listing is coming from engines alligment, it easy to solve, it is a DIY.

Thanks. It needs to go in because the fuel senders are not calibrated correctly. I have the Merc Vessel view system and they do not show the fuel readings correctly. Since it is going back for that, want them to check the listing issue.
I saw a couple of other posts with the same listing to starboard issue, so was wondering if it is a ballast issue or something else.

What Merc's do you have? Props model and pitch? Did you run some tests? Trim activ? Zipwake? Vessel view 403?

I have the 200xl dts. Vessel view 403 system. For the fuel sender situation, since there is no cross feed on the tanks, I closed off the port side tank valve to confirm it was pulling fuel from that tank. Confirmed that, and since I had run 100 miles and the tank still was showing Full, assuming it is a calibration issue and not that the engine is pulling fuel from somewhere else.
For the listing, it is when the boat is docked. I can trim it out on plane. However, when it is sitting on the dock it clearly lists to the starboard. It is pretty noticeable and I have confirmed equal fuel, water tank is more port side as is holding tank.

I've noticed mine listing about 1-2" starboard. Emptied out the holding tank and it seemed to straighten up...although I was doubtful that this was the cause. I considered dock line tension, wind, fuel levels, etc and did not find any external influences causing the list. Our first trip was 460 miles bringing her back to home port and we didn't notice any list during the trip, although it was loaded differently at the time.
I am going to double check the fuel levels by topping off the tanks and see if that has any effect. If so, there might be an issue with the fuel level gauges...but I doubt it.

That kind of listing or of balance could be hard to resolve, the 80 l waste tank is on portside, just that is a 80kg counterweight as full, 25l eater heater on starboard, an other 25 kg, for Verado or genset, a third battery is involved....etc What model of prop? Ex Vengeance, Revolution 4...? Prop's pitch ?

My 895 sport is listing too on the starboard side, a good one inch.
I have been running the boat for a while, not a big deal to be honest, and not sure what could be the cause. Our boat is not perfectly symmetrical, maybe the console and the bathroom add weight on the starboard side creating that small tilt.
Let us know if you find a solution.

Hi, my 2021 895 Sport also lists to starboard. My "guess" is due to the head, helm station and refrigerator all being on the starboard side of boat.

Hi all
Retire 2017 is correct. The boat is pretty balanced overall, and absolutely packed with stuff in every square inches, the list is undeniably coming from the head. Engineer’s always tend to under estimate the weight of the glass work associated with the shower. For one good reason, the one working on fiberglass are not the same as the one working on woodwork!
