Unless I am missing something, it appears the NC11 is not equipped with a galvanic isolator. Is there some other design feature that compensates? Galvanic isolators are recommended by Nigel Calder and other experts. Have others added them? Very helpful group on this forum. Thanks in advance.

I installed a galvanic isolator on my SO379 two years ago. There was no factory installation on my boat or any other 379/389 or 409 in our marina. I have had the same berth for some years and haul out annually. There is a measurable decline in the rate of dissolution of my propeller hub zinc on my last two haulouts. Recognizing that there may be a number of additional factors at play - eg. changes in berths of other boats in the area - I am prepared to credit the isolator for a good portion of the improvement. For the modest cost, I feel it is worth the investment.

I have a 2021 895 Sport. Had a Galvanic Isolator installed Dec. 2021 as I am having severe Electrolysis problems . I think it has helped but still not comfortable keeping shore power hooked up. In the process of finding the source, shore power or boat or both.
